We have received the sad news that Brian Lazelle passed away on Monday the 19th of September 2022. He was one of the founding members of the Bedfordshire Local History Association in 1992, having held the posts of History in Bedfordshire editor, and Chairman.
Brian was also one of the founding members of the Ampthill and District Archaeological and Local History Society in 1962, and up until very recently the Vice Chairman. He had been the Treasurer for the Bedfordshire Archaeological Council, also past Chairman and current President of the Maulden History Society.
