Hello, my name is Brian Wedge and I live in Berkhamsted, Herts. I am a member of the International Guild of Knot Tyers and wonder if you could provide any information about the above building. I am asking because in 2012 I took a couple of photos of the very unusual window treatments which have lots of knotwork in them (attached). I have just got around to deciding to send them to our magazine for publication and wondered if you had any more information about them or their origin. It appears that they are no more as the buildings have been renovated. If you have any information I would appreciate it.
