I own a historic boat, built in 1928, by H & W Bryant, of Bedford – the builder’s brass plate is in its original position in the boat. While I have been able to trace some of the boat’s history, I’ve never been able to find any reference to the builder. It has been suggested that they may have been builders of ‘racing eights’, or at least that style of boat, as the construction is similar. Any information, or suggestions for further research, would be most gratefully received. Thank you for your attention.
