Be Inspired: by National Trust Volunteers and Others at Willington Dovecote and Stables from 1912 to 2021

Dorothy Jamieson has produced an article ‘Be Inspired’.  It is a summary of the contribution made by volunteers to the history of National Trust’s Dovecote and Stables for more than a hundred years and shows that Willington Local History Group was formed in 2003.

A cold and windy Saturday, 27th November 2021, saw the unveiling of a memorial in the gardens at the Rufus Centre, Flitwick, Bedfordshire. This stone is to commemorate two Mosquito aircrew, killed when their aircraft crashed into a field between the villages of Flitwick and Steppingley.
