ADALHS – Tempsford Village Guided Walk – Friday 11th August
(2 pm start, returning to the Museum for refreshments by 4 pm)
Steve Cooney the Curator of Tempsford Museum and Archives will lead a guided walk followed by tea, coffee, homemade cakes and a view around Tempsford Museum. The walking distance is about one to one and a half miles depending upon how far the group wishes to venture at various points of interest along the route.
The walk will include a visit to the 14th C St Peter’s Church and will be open for us, the Church St area, properties in the High Street/Great North Road, Gannock Castle, site of the Chantry House, Wheat Sheaf Public House, Mill Lane and the Old Mill House, War Memorial and the Millenium Gardens.
The cost of this tour with refreshments is £8 per person and must be booked in advance. Bookings close Friday 4th August to provide numbers to the museum.
The tour will start and return to Tempsford Museum & Archives, Tempsford Stuart Memorial Village Hall, Church St, Tempsford SG19 2AW
Parking is available at the museum.
