This year's Autumn Event will be a talk by James Collet-White, entitled BEDFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL - Its History and Personalities.  This is a very appropriate subject in the light of the current Local Government reorganisation taking place in Bedfordshire, which will see the end of the Council Council by March 2009.

This year's Annual Conference will be hosted by the Clapham Historical Society.  The date of the meeting has not yet been finalised, but provisionally the date of Saturday 13th June 2009 has been earmarked.
